    @Brian C

Are you running Methanl in your Syvecs setup?

If your not it’s worth while whilst it’s in at Devils to add in a flex fuel sensor their about £180 then it’s just add methanol (no water) direct to the fuel about 15 litres or less per full tank

I collect my methanol in a 205litre drums for £150, delivery is about £60 ish pounds.

Syvecs Bluetooth to your phone is alright but does drop out better off with a Toucan screen

    RS Edition.

The rest of the “M” maps suck

The draggy is not easy to cheat, it’s more hard to find a suitable road for it to verify….. If it’s outside the parameters it will not verify and not allow you add your time to the leaderboard…. using it in a different car is pointless, you see the gear changes and characteristics of each car. The top 2 fastest RS times were set on shocking B roads 😂 (private of course)

A dyno day or a runway day would be good fun….

@white-rs2 no I’m not, but I’ll phone Devils in the morning and speak to them about that.
So basically you add a flex fuel sensor and that’s it. Then you add methanol in with the fuel in the tank?

You can’t cheat with a draggy it’s as accurate as Santa pod so they say

however you will get a faster time supposedly at the pod because it is a purpose laid surface extra grippy so better launches

    better 60ft better terminal

@nateodog what I mean is it isn’t a level playing ground as you could do a run with minimum fuel, alter tyre inflation, wheel size /tyre width, altitude, humidity, race fuel etc

@Brian C it is level if you do your best to get get a time… Fuel is dependant on your car set up 😆 a 6.4 seconds has been done by the second fastest with his tools in the boot… Its all a bit of fun, 1335 UK users just on the 100-200 kph times…. also gives a comparison across other brands..

The app is free download and you don’t need a unit to have a look, its a good crack when someone from denmark asks how the fuck did you do that 😂

This is off msd website, the 530 is in collaboration with devils, it does state 500nm (368ftlb) available from 3000 rpm

    MSD 530 (up to 530PS)
This is our joint collaboration project with Devil Developments.
When allied to a Devil Developments spec engine, torque will be raised to 700NM+ with maximum power coming in at 530PS. The vehicle retains great road manners on this conversion with over 500NM available from around 3000 RPM and over 700NM available by 4000 RPM, this really does bring the Focus Rs to life!

The rev limit is kept sensible at 6500, so this is no rev hungry monster that requires massive engine speed like 500bhp cars of old… and of course as always with an MSD conversion, the ECU’s incredible torque model is fully retained ensuring factory drive-ability with no hesitations, surges or hiccups in power delivery, and of course all the necessary safety limits and protection strategies are re-profiled to allow the extra performance whilst retaining an O.E Level of engine protection. Beware: Many companies completely disable the torque control and most of the protection strategies in order to force the management to allow more boost. Read the “Safety” tab for more details on these strategies.

When you drive a car with such a short limiter it’s not good

tamas old car ok wasn’t a precision but it came alive at 4,000 rpm and it was done by 6800 rpm made the drive horrible, power delivery felt on and off as the band was too short, that and because it couldn’t Rev out it was actually slower head to head.

Brian yes I get what your saying however in reality all those things make the smallest of changes

also there is no difference to actually being at the pod

what I mean here is , the pod has purpose built surface (more grip)

you can still have different tyre pressures different amount of fuel cold day hot day etc

Draggy boxes are gps yes, but unlike a sat nav it has a refresh rate if something stupid like 10times a second  making it incredibly accurate it will only verify your speed and times if it’s falls within the correct parameters I.e not going downhill or any slopes etc

Getting better times on draggy is hard work , one day borrow one off a mate and you will see they are addictive though so be warned 🤣

Direct comparison of an RS MK2 tuned by Sabre. The original graph from earlier this year on their Dastek dyno and a more recent graph from a dyno day on the Mainline dyno (same as yours Ade). You can see there is a huge difference in torque between these dynos yet it is the same car and tune… The Dastek dyno reads a lot lower torque than most dynos at the low end so nothing to do with the tuning!

    2500 +52lbs/ft
    3000 +134lbs/ft
    3500 +104lbs/ft
    4000 +53lbs/ft
    4500 +36lbs/ft
    5000 +19lbs/ft
